Very Basic Bladder Expression Technique Add Video

This video is really an introductory look at how to express a dog's bladder. In this case, the dog is our own boy, Buddy2. There are many, many ways to accomplish this task, and we hope to be able to touch on most, if not all, of them.

One thing that I forgot to mention is that a dog's bladder feels just like a full water balloon when you are pressing on it, particularly with both hands more or less "cupping" it. Try to get used to the feel of that by actually practicing on a water balloon to get the feel of what the bladder itself is like. It can really help in both locating the bladder at first and in locating the ideal point for you to place your hands. Hope this helps- stay tuned for more videos coming up very shortly!!
